Complete the Flocabulary idioms assignment in Google Classroom.

You will watch the video, review the vocabulary cards, and play the vocabulary game!

Step 3:

Idiom Draw

Play Idiom Draw with someone else! Before playing the game, discuss the literal meanings of the idioms.

  1. The first artist "blindly" draws or chooses one of the idioms from the choice board.

  2. They have 2 minutes to draw the idiom while others guess.

  3. If the person guesses correctly, they become the artist.

Step 4:

Word Work

This week Word Work will be done on paper and pencil and will not be submitted digitally.

Look at your word work list & the menu options on Google Classroom. Complete 1 menu option each day in a notebook or on paper.

Flash Cards to Send to Parents Mult Div.pdf
  • Practice your math multiplication & division facts (using a method of your choice).

  • Print and cut these Multiplication & Division Fact cards (or write down on notecards) and play Math War with a sibling or a parent!

War

This flashcard game can be played with any addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division flashcards.

  • Shuffle a deck of flashcards and deal out all the cards between two players.

  • Each player turns a card over at the same time and solves it.

  • The player with the highest answer wins and collects the cards.

  • When the players are out of cards, the player with the most cards wins.

Log in to Zearn to complete the assignments given by your teacher.
