Your challenge today is to rebuild Navy Pier!

Your build should include the following (total points 100):

• Family activities (20 points)

  • This can include rides and areas for kids to have fun (15 points)

• Restaurants (20 points)

• Walkways (10 points)

• Parks and Natural Settings (10 points)

  • This could include trees, flower beds

• Other visuals that make the space interesting (20 points)

• Areas that will help bring the community together at Navy Pier (20 points)

  • this could include stages for concerts, places to sit to have a picnic

Bonus (25 points):

• Lake restoration and infrastructure

We’ve all wanted to leave our normal day-to-day worlds and go out to enjoy the wonders of the world. With Minecraft, now you can create those worlds as well!

With your team, design a summer getaway house! Is it going to be on a beach somewhere in a faraway paradise? Or will it be in a more unique location? It is up to you and your team to image and design.

Make sure to fully furnish your summer house… you don’t want to come into an empty home!

From the deepest oceans to the endlessness of space, our last prompt will challenge your team’s logical thinking and engineering skills!

With your partners, create a habitable space station that could be used by humans in order to explore the stars and the planets that fill our night skies.

How will these brave people eat throughout their journey? Are their craft created with ways to explore the different planets that they find? How would they be able to move in and out of the craft safely?

Remember, all inventions started off as drawings on paper napkins… your canvas will be Minecraft. Go out and create your own future!
