Late work policy: students have one week to turn in late or missing class work from the date it was assigned in order to receive credit. Please email me if additional accommodations are needed. Projects that are turned in late will be deducted 10% for each day late. Turning in work on time is essential for not falling behind and staying with the class. Please reach out if your student needs help planning and organizing their work - I'm happy to do sessions to work on these habits.
Absences: If you know that you will be absent ahead of time, please email Madame Corletta LMTorrison@cps.edu to make up any work. Students will make up any missed assessments soon after their return to school in order to stay current with the new material.
Please note that now that the language lottery has been conducted, we will not switch a student's language, even if requested to the school administration or the world language coordinator. Parents do not need to have any prior experience with the language their student is studying for their student to be successful in the language classroom.
