EqRA is a strategic initiative of the External Research Team (ERT) at CPS. The ERT is grounded in a vision of Equity-centered, Vision-aligned Research - ECVAR.
ECVAR means connecting to and learning from a radically inclusive range of experts to provide CPS communities with meaningful and accessible knowledge that empowers the district and its stakeholders to collectively build equitable learning environments for every student in every school.
We believe that in order to make our vision of ECVAR a reality, we must approach research in a new and innovative way - this belief led us to the creation and implementation of EqRA.
The ERT manages relationships with our external research partners, facilitates new research projects, and connects research to practice.
