In 2019, together with clerks (elementary school, high school, and charter school), executive assistants, and district partners, we formalized the Clerk Standardized Operational Plan (SOP). The Clerk SOP exists to streamline communication from the district, develop tools and resources designed for clerks/by clerks and strengthen the clerk community as they connect to provide peer support and mentorship.
We invite you to join us in partnership as we continue to move forward in this endeavor to improve operations at the school level to increase capacity and enable clerks to provide excellent care and service to families and serve in their roles to the best of their ability.
Here is what has been accomplished so far:
Clerk Website - A collection of critical resources, documents, guidance, policies, forms, etc., for clerks to help streamline communications and provide quick access to job aids and resources.
Clerks Chronicles, the Clerk Community’s monthly newsletter
Clerk Community Google Group for Clerks to use as a place to share all questions and support each other in your work.
Clerk Customer Service Training - all clerks we offered the opportunity to enroll in customer service training offered through the Talent Office.
