Required Training for Procurement Rules and Guidelines
This summer, the Department of Procurement is launching an annual training to ensure all key school-based and Central Office staff understand the latest district procurement rules, guidelines, and key Oracle iProcurement functionality. Purchasing activity that does not adhere to our rules and guidelines can lead to delays in receiving the goods and services that you need for the start of the school year. To ensure that all purchasing goes smoothly for the start of school, this training is mandatory for all assigned school and Central Office staff and must be completed by September 2, 2022.
There will be two separate Procurement trainings available on SafeSchools- “Procurement Rules and Guidelines” will be assigned to iProcurement users; and “Procurement Overview” will be assigned to Teachers, Athletic Directors, and Central Office staff. New and existing iProcurement users must complete their assigned training in order to receive or keep Oracle iProcurement access beyond September 2, 2022. Users without Oracle iProcurement access will NOT be able to perform any procurement tasks, including submitting and approving purchase requisitions.
