CPR Classes

Commercially available CPR recertification classes typically cost $50-$100. Some of the providers below offer recertification classes at a lower price if your current CPR card is still valid. You must take a class at the BLS professional level (some say "healthcare" instead of "professional" or a combination of the two) that has an in-person skills component. This can include classes that are 1/2 online and 1/2 in-person skills demonstration such as the AHA HeartCode BLS course. AHA courses that are NOT VALID include CPR Anytime, Family & Friends CPR, and Heartsaver CPR. Any CPR class that is entirely online is not valid to perform as an EMT in New York State.

CPMU has arranged for discounts with some of these providers. Discount codes are for CPMU members only. You will be asked to bring your CPMU ID or proof of membership with you to the class. If you do not have a CPMU ID card, you can email admin@cpmu.com to ask for a membership verification letter or use the one you were provided to purchase your uniform when you joined CPMU.
