SHS members in Spanish classes, and students in Spanish 4 & AP were invited to participate in the National Spanish Exam. We had 40 students take the exam. 22 out of the 40 students earned national recognition. We are so proud of these students for their incredible performance! Buen trabajo a todos!

The Activities Committee Leaders planned for an end-of-the-year gathering for SHS members to enjoy.
Members brought something to share. It was a huge success! Thank you to all who brought something to share and attended the party. We are so glad to have shared this last event to say goodbye to the school year!
The SHS chapter had their third Hispanic Food Day!
We visited "Che Chori". We were able to try some delicious food from Argentina. Mr. Marcos shared his experience and culture with us. And, we tried some deliciousness from Argentina. Some highlights were: las empanadas, el choripan, and los churros con dulce de leche!

We visited "La Guanaquita 2" restaurant. We were able to try some delicious food from El Salvador. A huge thank you to Mrs. Silvia who took care of us and had us try some delicious atol de elote.

We visited "Tu Casa Latin Food" restaurant. We were able to try some delicious food! Dishes with roots from various countries such as: Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, and Colombia. Thank you to Mrs. Nulvin for the amazing food!
The January general body meeting was a success!
The exec board also rocked leading the general body meeting with the underclassmen. Great job to them!

The Spanish Honor Society, National Honor Society, and National Art Honor Society collaborated on a Pumpkin Decorating Contest. Each honor had a few teams of members decorate a pumpkin using the theme of "Movies" to compete for a winning pumpkin. All money raised went towards the Ronald McDonald House.
These display cases were shared in the CPCSC Admin Building and WCHS Display Cases between the cafeteria and media center.
The SHS Chapter inducted 38 new members. Welcome to "el Guaraní" Chapter!
The 2021-2022 Executive Board had a summer training and retreat. During this retreat, they learn a few things about their personality, leadership, and how to use their strengths and weakness to have a successful year as leaders.
They participated on a few activities to learn about effective communication.
Lastly, the exec board had their first official meeting and came up with ideas to make it a great year!
