Knowledge:
I was taught the importance of valuing others, and more importantly, myself. There were many courses that shown us how to interact with people from different walks of life from our own. We were taught that everyone is different, but they all deserve the same respect that we would want given to ourselves. We were shown that if we do not value ourselves, we won’t value others as much.
Skills:
I am now able to look at myself and understand who I am and why I am the way I am through my courses. I have a better understanding of my ethical points of view and can now project them in a way in which it will not impact how people see me too much.
Attitudes:
My attitude towards valuing others has not changed. I believe we must have this capability in our everyday lives. I have always valued others, but I have learned that I put others before myself far too often. I now know that I must value myself more to be able to give more.
