Students will need the following basic items for school:

• Notebook

• Pencil/Pen

• Paper

• Chromebook

• Back Pack

• Headphones

Please look at the videos for content specific needs. You will take these classes or a similar class at some point during your freshman year. All students will receive a syllabus on the first day of school with course specific supply needs.

What time does school start/end?

Students are late to school if they arrive at their 1st block class after the 8:30 bell rings. If a student arrives after 830, they will not be allowed into first block without ONE of the following: A late bus pass, check-in note from attendance, Securly pass to class created at attendance. 

Students are dismissed for the day at 3:30. Students need to be picked up by 4:30 each day.

When does my child eat lunch?

Students eat lunch with their 3rd block class.  A bell schedule will be posted in the classrooms.

What if my student needs something throughout the day or forgot something at home?

Students can ask for a pass to the front office to call home.  Parents are welcome to drop items off in the front office that their student needs to pick up.  We do not call students out of class to pick up items, but rather, will notify them to come to the office during class transitions to retrieve items.

My child will be riding the bus. How do I know the bus they will ride in the morning and/or afternoon?

By visiting the Coweta County Schools Website, then clicking departments and transportation, you will find a list of all buses that will be coming to and from ECHS each day.  The spreadsheet is based upon your home address and students can only be transported to their current address listed in Infinite Campus. 

How do I know when a bus is going to be late? 

The Coweta County School System Transportation Department is using the Bus Bulletin notification system to notify parents and students when there are bus delays and schedule changes.

How do I keep up to date with my student's progress in their classes?

Students and their parents/guardians have access to the Infinite Campus portal.  Please see the directions in Module 8 for more information about signing up. 

What should I do if I feel overwhelmed or stressed?

Reach out to the school counselors for support. They can provide resources and strategies for managing stress and balancing your responsibilities.
