Progress Learning "Study Plans" & "Liftoff" modules provide opportunities for both remediation and enrichment on an individual level for every student.  The plan is as follows:

Week of 7/28

Set your classes up in Progress Learning.

Week of 8/4

Students will take their diagnostics during ELT or in class per their teachers' instructions to enable Progress Learning to provide individualized remediation/enrichment experiences according to their pre-requisite knowledge and skills.  

If during CLASS

• 1. • 1. • Monday 8/5 - Social Studies (Study Plan diagnostic - domain test)

            • • Note that students must take a separate Progress Learning benchmark for the district social studies chair as well.  It must be completed by 8/23.  

          • Tuesday 8/6 - Math (Liftoff diagnostic)

            • • The "separate" district benchmark from the math chair is Wednesday 8/7.

          • Wednesday 8/7 - ELA (go to HMH)

            • • The "separate" district benchmark from the ELA chair is Thursday 8/8.

          • Thursday 8/8 - Science (Study Plan diagnostic - domain test)

            • The "separate" district benchmark from the science chair is set to be completed during the week of 8/12.

          • Friday 8/9 - Makeups

If during ELT

            • • Monday 8/5   -   Middle School Safety Lesson

              • Tuesday 8/6 & Wednesday 8/7   -   Math Liftoff Diagnostic

              • Thursday 8/8 & Friday 8/9   -   ELA Liftoff Diagnostic

Week of 8/12

• 1. • If you chose to complete Progress Learning Diagnostics during CLASS, the students will do Liftoff or their assigned Study Plan assignments:

     • If you chose to complete Progress Learning Diagnostics during ELT, the remaining schedule is as follows:

       1. • Monday 8/12 & Tuesday 8/13 - Social Studies Study Plan Diagnostic

          • Wednesday 8/14 & Thursday 8/15 - Science Study Plan Diagnostic

Week of 8/19

• 1. • Students who DIDN'T complete all of their diagnostics can use ELT or class time to finish them.

     • Students who DID complete all of their diagnostics can start doing:

       1. • Liftoff for ELA & Math.

          • The Science and Social Studies Study Plans assigned by their teachers

Week of 8/26 and Thereafter

• 1. • Core teachers will assign study plans through scheduled posts to Google Classroom each Monday for a weekly PRESENT grade.

     • Teachers can run reports to determine how many Liftoff Stars a student has obtained or check their Study Plan performance to calculate their weekly PRESENT grade.

     • Encourage your students to complete their work during ELT to increase their learning, sharpen their skills, and earn rewards.

     • The data provided by these tools will be used for progress monitoring, determining remediation/enrichment topics, and enhancing our Tier 2 & Tier 3 screening process.
