Mrs. Becker earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education - Mathematics from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. Mrs. Becker enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and crocheting. She is co-advisor of the Stitch-It-Up Club here at CHS.
"My favorite teacher was a math teacher I had in 8th and 11th grade. He was patient, kind, and cared about his students. I knew since I was seven years old that I wanted to be a teacher, but he is the reason I became a Math teacher."
Mrs. Capizzo graduated from Coventry High School and went on to earn her Bachelor's Degree from Roger Williams University, MEd from Lesley University & Special Education Certification from Providence College. Mrs. Capizzo loves color - it makes her happy. She also loves her job- working with kids to her is the best. Aside from that she loves eating sushi, seeing live music, dancing, being outdoors, laughing, running, doing yoga, snowboarding & most importantly spending time with her 3 kids, husband & dog.

He stayed after school many afternoons to re-explain concepts I hadn't yet grasped during class. I was (& still am) the type of learner who needs extra time & practice & he was understanding of that."
Mr. Cook earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of Rhode Island. Mr. Cook enjoys cycling, learning, and cutting down trees.
"Mrs. Kirby was my junior English teacher. She had a passion for her subject and loved her job. She continued to mentor me during my senior year. She told me to pursue a career in which you will enjoy waking up to each day. Thirteen years later I am happy to say I love what I do."
Mrs. Cronin graduated with her Bachelor’s in Secondary Education and English from Boston College; she later earned her Master’s degree in Special Education from Rhode Island College. She enjoys the beach, skiing, gardening and spending time with her husband and three children.

Mr. Ferro graduated from Salve Regina University and is now pursuing a M.ED at Rhode Island College. Mr. Ferro has taught and coached for eighteen years at Coventry middle schools. He enjoys all outdoors activities such as walking, riding motorcycles, biking, boating and relaxing. He is a big fan of health and wellness practices and enjoys learning.
Miss Hague attended high school at La Salle Academy and college at Sacred Heart University where she pursued an undergraduate degree in math and a graduate degree in education. She loves being active in the gym and has a passion for fitness. She was a competitive gymnast for many years along with being a gymnastics coach for 8 years. She also has two small dogs who are her life! Along with teaching here at CHS, Miss Hague is also the Assistant Gymnastics Coach and Assistant Student Council Advisor.

She took the time to make sure we were all on the same page and would stay for extra help with myself and other students for hours to ensure we understood. Her friendliness, enthusiasm, and kind heart are what make her stand out”
Mrs. Larson is a CHS graduate. She graduate from Rivier University where she played college Volleyball. Outside of school Mrs. Larson enjoys hanging with her puppy Hazel and her cat Sophie, going to the beach, shopping, coaching at LHS, hanging with friends, attending concerts, and reading.
"My favorite teacher is a hard tie between Mr. Cook and Mrs. Tobin. Mr. Cook made math real for me and related it to everything around me while using his sense of humor to make class more enjoyable. Meanwhile, Mrs. Tobin truly cared for each of her students and connected with us on a deeper level. She taught me life and was always such an engaging teacher."
Miss Luzier earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of Rhode Island. Mrs. Luzier loves yoga, running, boating, going to the beach and playing outside with my yellow lab!!
"One of my favorite teachers was Mrs. Capuano, she was one of my math teachers at Cranston West. I really enjoyed going to her class because she had so much energy which made the class exciting and you could just feel her love of teaching and math. She took the time to connect with her students and it was such a welcoming class to go to."
Ms. Malinow earned a Bachelor's degree from Brandeis University. In addition, a Master's degree was earned from University of Rhode Island. She also holds her certification to teach high school in NY. Ms. Malinow enjoys swimming (especially going to the beach), hiking, kayaking, and biking.

Mrs. Muschiano earned a Bachelor's degree from Rhode Island College. Mrs. Muschiano enjoys hiking, camping, traveling, especially to New York City, and creating new items by repurposing old stuff.
"My favorite teacher cared enough to give me direction and advice to guide my future as a math teacher. Entering college I thought I wanted to teach 1st grade, but his encouragement to use the math brain I was blessed with steered me in a different direction. He was the first to uncover my true love of math and learning, and made me "think math" rather than just performing the steps. I have a passion for finance and creating truly financially literate young adults. "
Mrs. Reynolds earned a Bachelor's degree from University of Rhode Island and earned her teaching certificate at Providence College. She enjoys traveling, photography, interior design, the beach, and going on adventures with her two dogs.
"My least favorite teacher in 8th grade turned into my favorite when I had him again in 12th grade English. Mr. Ruggiero was awesome in so many ways. We always worked really hard in his class but he was so funny that we didn't mind. He taught me everything I know about writing and grammar."
Mrs. Robichaud graduated from Rhode Island College with a degree in elementary education and a concentration in Special Education. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, 2 boys, and 2 dogs. I also enjoy sailing, working out and making signs. I had always thought I would be an elementary school teacher, however I have enjoyed every second of my 20 years here at CHS!
Mrs. Rocchio is a CHS Alumni, graduate of the University of Tennessee, and former URI Masters Program student. Mrs. Rocchio moved up to CHS in 2018 after teaching for 13 years at the middle school level. In addition to teaching at CHS, she is also the Math Department Curriculum Coordinator and does the choreography for the CHS Drama Club's musical productions.
Prior to teaching in Coventry, Mrs. Rocchio taught in Colorado where she was also a dance and cheer coach. At home, Mrs. Rocchio has 2 kids, Zach and Emilee who have a love of football, wrestling, softball, and dirt bikes...we spend many hours at a field! Summers bring us out on the water and winters bring us on the mountains; both on skis and boards. As much as we are active, we love a good movie cozied up on the couch with popcorn and ice cream.
Mrs. Russell attended high school at Woodstock Academy in northeast Connecticut. After moving to Rhode Island, she graduated from Rhode Island College in 2020 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education and Mathematics. Mrs. Russell ( aka Miss G) loves anything to do with the outdoors. She has run over 20 half-marathons, and looks forward to completing a full marathon in the next few years. She enjoys hiking, running, biking, and playing cards with her Nana.
"My favorite teacher was my high school math teacher, Mr. Tyler. As a high school senior, I had still yet to feel impressed by mathematics. Math had been the most difficult subject for me in school until that point. My calculus teacher, Mr.Tyler (Steven Tyler- like the rockstar), made calculus so cool. Mr. Tyler was genuinely interested in his students, funny, and was constantly checking in to find better ways to support all learners."
