We have finished Chapter 2 and are moving forward with Chapter 3: Subtraction Strategies and Facts to 12 in our Math curriculum which will focus on the following target areas:
Learn subtraction facts to 12.
Identify pattern rules and subtraction patterns.
Relate addition and subtraction.
Solve two-step problems that involve sequence.
We finished Unit 1 and Unit 2 of Superkids and have began working on Unit 3.
Daily 5 will continue to be a part of our literacy time to create small differentiated groups of students. Students are participating in Read to Self, Work on Writing, Word Work, and Teacher Time "rotating" every 15 minutes. This continues to look VERY different with social distancing this year, but the students are doing a great job!

We have learned about Plants in Chapter 2 of Science and are moving onto Social Studies Unit 3 "World of Work."

Explain how families in this country and around the world meet their needs and wants.
Explain how supply of goods affects choices.
Give examples of good and services.
Identify services at school and in the community.
Explain ways people can save money.
Explain why people have jobs.
Identify some types of jobs that produce goods or services.
Explain the difference between buyer and seller.
