Let’s Get Started!
Welcome, and let the fun learning begin!
Dear Cosmos Primary School Community,
Welcome to another exciting school year! I hope you all had a restful and enjoyable break. As we step into this new academic year, I would like to share some important updates and highlights from our school.
We kicked off the year with our Orientation Program, designed to help new and returning students transition smoothly into the school environment. The program was great with Parents participating in various activities to get acquainted with their teachers and the school facilities.
First Day at School: Celebrating Child Happiness
The first day of school was filled with joy and enthusiasm. Seeing the smiles on the faces of our students as they reunited with friends and made new ones was truly a delightful experience. Our teachers worked tirelessly to create a welcoming and positive atmosphere, ensuring each child felt comfortable and happy.
In our continuous effort to improve communication and support our students' learning, we are excited to introduce the CC Plan Book. This new tool will help keep track of homework assignments, ensuring that students and parents are always up-to-date.
Our Yoga Day event was a tremendous success, with students participating enthusiastically in various yoga sessions. It was a fantastic opportunity to promote health and wellness among our students, teaching them the importance of physical activity and mindfulness.
Welcome Back Gathering with the Principal
We recently had a special welcome-back gathering to celebrate our Principal’s return from her vacation. The event was filled with joy and creativity as students presented her with an array of art and craft projects. It was a wonderful way to show our appreciation and to kick off the new school year with a burst of creativity and community spirit.
Several subjects have already started initial assessments to better understand each child's learning needs and abilities. These assessments are crucial in helping us identify areas where students may need additional support and tailor our teaching strategies accordingly. We are committed to providing continuous support to ensure every child achieves their full potential.
We look forward to a productive and enjoyable school year. Together, we can create a nurturing and stimulating environment where our students can thrive.
Dear Cosmos Primary School Community,
Welcome to the new academic year at Cosmos Primary School! We are thrilled to embark on another year of learning, growth, and exploration with our enthusiastic cosmonauts.
Curriculum and Educational Initiatives
This year, our curriculum is set to inspire and challenge our students, fostering a love for learning across all subjects. We are introducing Rollama, an engaging new game designed to enhance grammar skills in a fun and interactive way. This addition aims to make language learning enjoyable and effective for our young learners.
Math Mastery with Numbots
In mathematics, we are enhancing our focus on mastery with Numbots, an innovative platform designed to strengthen mathematical fluency and problem-solving skills. We encourage our cosmonauts to challenge themselves in Numbots' Challenge mode daily. We are delighted to hear that many of our cosmonauts are achieving diamond and platinum levels, showcasing their dedication and skill in mathematics.
S.P.E.A.K Programme

We are excited to launch our Nurture-Parent Club, a parent engagement initiative aimed at fostering a collaborative relationship between the school and the parent community. The club will offer workshops on curriculum topics, behavioral guidance, social and emotional learning support, and community building. Join us in this endeavor to promote a harmonious, all-rounded development of our students.
Nurture- Parent Club
Nurture Club Overview
The Nurture Club at Cosmos Primary School is a parent engagement initiative aimed at fostering a collaborative relationship between the school and the parent community. Our mission is to provide an understanding of our holistic approach to education encompassing Academic learning (Core Curriculum & Whole School Programs), Positive behavior (S.T.A.R Behavioural Expectations), and Social and Emotional development (Skills of the Heart).
Our intention is to build a strong and supportive partnership where parents feel educated, engaged, and empowered in supporting their children's learning journey at Cosmos Primary School. Here's an overview of what the Nurture Club encompasses:
Academic Empowerment: We offer workshops on various curriculum topics, familiarizing parents with the content and pedagogy adopted by the school. From understanding the structure of our curriculum to strategies for effective homework support and comprehending assessment methods, our goal is to empower parents to aid their child's academic progression.
Behavioral Guidance: We offer resources and interactive workshops for parents to comprehend and extend, at home, the principles of Positive Behavior and the S.T.A.R Expectations. Discussions on managing behavioral challenges, recognizing, and rewarding positive behavior form an integral part of this segment.
Social and Emotional Learning Support: Understanding and promoting social and emotional learning forms the third pillar of the Nurture Club. By exploring the 'Skills of the Heart' program and sharing strategies for promoting SEL at home, we aim to equip parents to foster emotional resilience in their children.
Community Building: Above all, Nurture Club seeks to cultivate a supportive community for parents. By providing a space for sharing experiences, raising concerns, and exchanging parenting strategies, we aim to create an environment where parents can learn from and lean on each other.
We invite all parents and guardians to join us in this endeavor to promote a harmonious, all-rounded development of our students in alignment with the Cosmos Primary School ethos.
