Dear Cosmos Community,
I am delighted to share with you the latest updates from our vibrant and progressive Cosmos. It is with great excitement that I witness our smarties always on their feet, fuelled by enthusiasm, and our dedicated educators on roller skates, determined to guide them towards their goals and accomplishments.
0ur recent Grandparents' Day celebrations were nothing short of incredible! It was a day filled with joy, laughter, and cherished moments as our Cosmonauts' grandparents joined us in the event. Their happiness and active participation in all the events truly warmed our hearts. We were amazed by their energy and enthusiasm, which created a memorable experience for everyone involved.
We are thrilled to share the remarkable achievements of our Grade 1 students who have blossomed into little gardeners with their recent project on planting and nurturing trees and plants. Through the lens of the science curriculum, the young learners have discovered the crucial role of trees and plants in our ecosystem. Just as humans need food, water, and sunlight to thrive, these inquisitive minds learned that plants, too, require these essential elements for growth.
We are grateful to the parents who volunteered to act as parent representatives in the Nurture Parent Club. We conducted our first meeting with them to orient them to the school's policy documents and the mission and aim of the Nurture Parent Club. We hope to establish a truly meaningful relationship with the school community through them. We are excited to conduct the upcoming parenting workshop on nutrition for our children, title 'From Seeds to Trees- Nourishing our children's future'. Together, let's create a nurturing environment for our children to flourish and thrive.
We are delighted to announce a momentous occasion in the life of our beloved teacher, Miss Priyanka, who is preparing to embark on a new chapter filled with love and joy. We extend our warmest wishes and heartfelt congratulations to her and her partner as they begin their beautiful journey of marriage.
As we progress further into the academic year, we encourage parents, grandparents, and educators to continue working together. Your active involvement and dedication to our Cosmonauts' growth and well-being are invaluable.

I am thrilled to share with you the wonderful news that our grandparents were the first visitors to our Cosmos. It was a memorable day for our UKG and LKG cosmonauts, as they had the opportunity to spend the day with their beloved grandparents. They introduced their grandparents to their friends at Cosmos . We all welcomed them with open arms and listened to their memories with enthusiasm. The cosmonauts and their grandparents also participated in engaging and exciting games together, which added to the joyous atmosphere of the visit. It was truly a memorable day for everyone involved, and we hope to welcome more visitors soon!
Based on the assessments that were conducted in the previous weeks, it has been determined that our Cosmonauts have demonstrated a strong grasp of the concept of Cardinality, specifically up to the number 10. As a result, these individuals have been presented with certificates to acknowledge their achievement and hard work.
A big shout-out to all the students celebrating their birthdays this month! 🎈 We hope your special day is filled with happiness and joy.
As part of our school's effort to foster a sense of community and support among parents, we recently held the first meeting of our Nurture Club for the parent representatives. During the meeting, we had a fruitful discussion about various school policies and procedures. In addition, we also talked about the important roles and responsibilities of the Nurture Club representatives, who will serve as a vital link between the school administration and the parent community. Through this discussion, we hope to establish a stronger partnership with our parents and empower them to become active stakeholders in their children's education.
Our Grade -1, students turned out to be little Gardeners. Over the course of several observations and hands-on experiences spanning a fortnight, our aspiring botanists diligently sowed seeds, diligently checked on their progress daily, and lovingly tended to their sprouting seedlings. The students have witnessed first hand the transformative power of nature and gained a deeper appreciation for the importance of growing plants. Beyond their personal involvement, the project also fostered a sense of environmental responsibility and sustainability in our young ones.
One of the highlights of their efforts was the cultivation of a beautiful garden, where colourful flowers swayed in the breeze, and lush greenery provided a serene sanctuary for our school's outdoor spaces. Moreover, the innovation and creativity of one brilliant student extended to growing paddy, a unique addition to their flourishing green paradise.
As educators, we are immensely proud of the enthusiasm and dedication displayed by our Grade 1 gardeners. By nurturing these young minds with a love for nature and instilling eco-consciousness at an early age, we believe they are well on their way to becoming environmentally responsible stewards of the future.
Together, let's continue to encourage and support their green initiatives, as they inspire us all to go green and embrace the wonders of our natural world.
A big round of applause to our Cosmonauts Parents for helping our Cosmonauts to turn out to be little gardeners.... followed by their Science Educator, Mrs.Sunanda, who could really motivate the tiny minds and take them across the go green concept in such a way, that they could give 💯 to the greenery project...
