Mrs. Devi Shankar
Dear Cosmos Primary Community,
I am writing to you today to share some exciting news and updates from our school.
Violet Day Celebration
We recently celebrated Violet Day with great enthusiasm. Our students dressed in vibrant shades of violet and had a fantastic time with their friends. Our educators also joined the festivities, adding more color to the event. We are already looking forward to the next color in the rainbow—the "Indigo Colour Day" celebration.
Welcome Back Mrs. Pallavi
We are thrilled to welcome back Mrs. Pallavi, who has been an integral part of our journey since the very beginning. We are looking forward to many more days filled with her immense knowledge and expertise.
Welcome Miss. Vanifah
We also welcome Miss. Vanifah to our ever-growing family. We wish her the very best and hope she has enriching and fulfilling days ahead.
Special Thanks
We would like to extend special thanks to Mrs. Sultana for celebrating Eid with our Cosmos family. We also want to wish our deputy principal, Mrs. Swati, and our year group lead, Mrs. Tejaswi, a very happy birthday. We wish them abundant happiness, good health, and continued success.
The Importance of a Disciplined Routine
The adage "early to bed and early to rise" holds true even in the vast expanse of Cosmos. Following a disciplined routine and maintaining regular sleeping patterns contribute to the overall health, prosperity, and wisdom of our Cosmonauts. It is essential to emphasize the significance of starting the day with positive morning greetings, as it sets a purposeful tone for the rest of the day and promotes a sense of camaraderie among the team.
School Assemblies
We have started our Year group assemblies. School assemblies are a great way to bring the entire school community together and provide opportunities for students to showcase their talents, discuss important topics, and foster a sense of unity and belonging. Our assemblies will be led by different grade levels each week, allowing all students to actively participate and contribute to the school's community.
Grandparents Day Celebrations
We are excited to invite the grandparents to the classrooms on the 'Bridging Generations-Grandparent's days planned for the LKG and UKG sections.
Thank You
Thank you for your constant support and cooperation. Together, let's create a nurturing and inspiring environment for our Cosmonauts to thrive.
Let's help our children fall in love with learning!
Mrs. Tejaswi
Mrs. Vineela
Our cosmonauts have just arrived at the school and are in the process of adjusting to their new environment and daily schedule. As they become more settled, we will begin to delve deeper into the curriculum and conduct formative assessments to identify any learning gaps that may exist amongst . Once we have identified these gaps, we can begin to plan and implement targeted interventions designed to help the children overcome any challenges they may be facing and ensure they are able to achieve their learning goals.
We are excited for the upcoming visitors who are going to meet our cosmonauts - their grandparents. The aim of this event is to strengthen the bond between our cosmonauts and their grandparents. Our cosmonauts are eager to learn from them and share in their wisdom.
A big shout-out to all the students celebrating their birthdays this month! 🎈 We hope your special day is filled with happiness and joy.
We have sent out applications for the Nurture Parent Club parent representatives, but the response has been lukewarm. One reason for this could be that the representatives are expected to commit some time on a weekly basis. Another reason could be that they haven't yet gotten a clearer picture of the initiative. We hope that as we progress with meetings and have something to show, there will be a better understanding of the program and more active participation.
We still encourage you to apply attend a couple of meetings to see if it is a commitment you may want to make.
First-Year Group Assembly at Cosmos Primary School:
At Cosmos Primary School, our first assembly sets the tone for a series of weekly gatherings. Keystage students assemble on Mondays, while Early Years students convene on Wednesdays. The assembly begins with an introduction, followed by our school song, discussions on the chosen theme, recitation of the school pledge, and concluding with the national anthem.
During music class, students collaborated to create a meaningful school song. Through brainstorming and sharing ideas, we developed a song that truly represents our school's values and spirit. This song has now become an integral part of our identity and tradition, met with pride and enthusiasm.
The assembly focuses on various topics such as values education, environmental education, cultural awareness, and achievement and recognition. In our recent assembly, our cosmonauts passionately spoke about the significance of honesty.

At Cosmos Primary School, we consider everyone associated with us - including the dedicated drivers who safely transport our students - as part of our extended family. We express our deepest condolences to the family of Mr. Bujji, our long-serving auto driver, who tragically passed away recently from a heart attack. Mr. Bujji has been an integral part of our Cosmos family since the very beginning. May his soul rest in peace.
