Mrs. Devi Shankar
Greetings and warm wishes to all of you! It brings me great joy to pen down this newsletter, celebrating the reopening day and the remarkable start of the academic year 2023-24 here at Cosmos. We are immensely grateful for your trust, support, and presence in making this day a memorable one for our entire Cosmos family.
The Welcome Day celebration marked a fantastic beginning for our school community. The air was filled with cheers, joy, happiness, and, of course, a few cries and screams as well. It was a pleasure to witness the smiles on the faces of our new students, parents, and educators as they embarked on this exciting journey with us. Our curriculum has been thoughtfully woven with new strategies and approaches to ensure a strong foundation for every child as they progress through their educational journey.
At Cosmos, we embrace the belief that change is inevitable and we wholeheartedly support the progress of our educators and cosmonauts alike. We bid a heartfelt farewell to Mrs. Hymavathi, who is leaving Cosmos, due to health constraints. We extend our best wishes for her well-being. Additionally, we would like to congratulate Mrs. Aswani and her family as they embark on a new adventure abroad. We wish them many knowledgeable days and success in their endeavors.
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated educators, Deputy Principal, and Year Group Leads for their tireless efforts in making the start of this academic year truly fantastic. Their commitment to our students' growth and development is commendable, and we are fortunate to have such a talented team. Together, we aim to achieve numerous milestones in the coming year.
We kindly request all parents to assist us in maintaining punctuality and adhering to the norms of Cosmos. While we may appear strict at times, please remember that everything we implement is in the best interest of our Cosmonauts. We strive to provide them with the very best education and ensure their overall well-being.
Lastly, I am thrilled to announce that our first celebration of the year was a humble tribute to the doctors from Cosmos. We had the privilege of inviting cosmonauts' doctor parents, and it was heart warming to see our Grade 3 cosmonauts take the lead in organizing the event with a little assistance from their educators. It was a proud moment for all of us.
Once again, thank you for your continuous trust and support in making Cosmos, a thriving and nurturing learning community. We are excited for the opportunities and achievements that lie ahead in this academic year. Let us work together to ensure a remarkable journey of learning and growth for our beloved cosmonauts.
Wishing you and your family a wonderful year filled with success and happiness.
Mrs. Swathi
Dear Parents,
I am thrilled to share that my journey at Cosmos has been wonderful. Like proud parents, I am delighted to see how the nursery children have transitioned and settled down in their classes. Additionally, students in all other grades have adjusted to the new academic year and welcomed new classmates into their classes. It is heartwarming to see such a positive and respectful attitude from the students. Their behavior reflects the positive and nurturing environment that Cosmos provides for them.
I am grateful to be a part of this community where children are encouraged to learn and grow in a safe and supportive environment. I have even had the pleasure of interacting with them and being asked for my name on multiple occasions. The children's eagerness to learn and their polite manners are a testament to the hard work and dedication of the teachers and staff at Cosmos. It is clear that they prioritize creating a positive and encouraging learning environment, and it is paying off in a big way.
We have conducted baseline assessments for each student in the R.E.A.D and M.A.S.T.E.R programs. This will help us understand their knowledge levels and improve their understanding of the content. Once we know each student's learning level, we will provide an intervention plan to fill their learning gaps.
The grade 3 students at Cosmos, this week, expressed their gratitude to the doctors in their community through a special assembly. During the event, the students acted as doctors with pride, showing appreciation for the hard-working doctors who contribute so much to the community. The assembly not only served as a way to recognize the doctors' contributions but also taught the students the importance of showing gratitude and recognizing those who help others.
Thank you for your continued support of our school and its mission to provide a positive and nurturing environment for our students. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. I wish all of the students and staff at Cosmos a happy and successful academic year.

Mrs. Vineela
As the academic year at Cosmos begins, we are excited to welcome back our students, educators, and families. As with every new year, the beginning of this academic year has been a time of transition, with students adjusting to new teachers, classmates, and classrooms. We are pleased to report that the curriculum is running smoothly according to the plan on a daily basis.
Our educators have thoughtfully woven new strategies and approaches into the curriculum to ensure a strong foundation for every child as they progress through their educational journey. We believe that change is inevitable and we wholeheartedly support the progress of our educators and cosmonauts alike.
Our cosmonauts had a great time during the art and craft activity session for the Violet Color Day. Thank you to the educators for organizing such a fun and engaging activity for our students.
We are thrilled to announce that we will soon begin our school assemblies, which will be an excellent opportunity for our students to learn and grow together. We believe that these assemblies will not only be a fun and engaging way for our students to come together as a community, but also a meaningful way for them to develop important skills and values that will serve them well throughout their lives.
Hello from the 'Happy Hippos' classroom of LKG B! I am Mrs. Sudha and it's a joy to guide our little ones in their first steps into the wonderful world of learning.
Our class is a lively bunch, full of curiosity and questions. Their excitement inspires me to make every day a fun and engaging learning journey. With our 'Happy Hippos' mascot always smiling in our room, it's easy to create a space that feels friendly, safe, and warm.
With the help of interesting games and activities, we learn the basics like numbers, colours, and letters. It's just like unwrapping a new present every day! The twinkling eyes and beaming smiles of our children when they grasp a new concept, is a sight that brightens my day
In the 'Happy Hippos' class, we value expression and kindness. We chat about our feelings and learn to share and take turns. We're not only preparing for future grades but also learning to be kind friends.
Playtime in our class is not just for fun, it's our favourite way to learn. We've set up various play corners, art activities, and storytelling sessions. These activities spark creativity, fuel imagination, and let the kids explore new things at their own pace. And I must say, their discoveries amaze me every time.
Being a part of the unique journey of each 'Happy Hippo' is a privilege. I try my best to understand their individual needs and help them accordingly. Their achievements, big or small, are celebrated with equal enthusiasm.
I also want to take a moment to introduce my teaching partner, Mrs. Bhagya Lakshmi. She's new to our Cosmos Primary family, but already an integral part of the 'Happy Hippos' classroom. Together, we work to make learning an exciting adventure for our students
Teaching your children and witnessing their growth is an enriching experience. The 'Happy Hippos' classroom is more than a teaching space; it's a learning ground for me as well.
Thank you for your trust in us. We promise to make the LKG B journey full of learning, fun, and happy memories.
Best wishes,
Mrs. Shyam Sudha
We have sent out applications for the Nurture Parent Club parent representatives, but the response has been lukewarm. One reason for this could be that the representatives are expected to commit some time on a weekly basis. Another reason could be that they haven't yet gotten a clearer picture of the initiative. We hope that as we progress with meetings and have something to show, there will be a better understanding of the program and more active participation.
We still encourage you to apply attend a couple of meetings to see if it is a commitment you may want to make.
