  8th Literature 

• No AoW this week :(

• This week, students will finish writing their mystery stories, and will trade stories with a partner. By the end of the week, they will turn in their completed story (without the solution), the solution to their story (on a separate document), and their accusation for the solution to their partner's mystery story.

8th English

• We will wrap up our poetry unit this week by finishing our close read of a Don Henley song. (The kids think Don Henley is cool, right?) Students will then pick their own song and complete a close-reading analysis.

6th Literature

• No AoW this week :(

• This week, students will continue to work on their graphic novels. They should storyboard their plot, then they can start working on panels.

6th English

• We will continue our grammar review, and have a refresher mini-test on nouns and pronouns. We will then either reflect back on our reading this year, or use some class time for extra graphic novel work.

    It is a fair, even-handed, noble adjustment of things, that while there is infection in disease and sorrow, there is nothing in the world so irresistibly contagious as laughter and good humor.
