PHYSICAL EDUCATION CHOICE

A physical education choice model refers to a curriculum designed to offer students options and autonomy in selecting physical education activities for the semester.  Instead of a one-size-fits-all approach, where all students participate in the same activities, a choice model allows students to choose from a variety of physical activities based on their interests, abilities, and goals.

Adaptive physical education (APE) refers to a specialized program designed to meet the unique needs of students in our physical education setting. The goal of adaptive physical education is to provide opportunities for students to participate in physical activities, improve their motor skills, enhance their fitness levels, and promote overall well-being. Through small group settings individual needs can be identified and activities can be modified to ensure a successful and safe physical education experience.
