Isabella Delgado

IB Senior, Isabella Delgado, has finished her four years at the Reef and is now ready for the next chapter in her life. In the fall, she is expected to attend Duke University, majoring in Global Health. Isabella’s favorite memory from her time at Coral Reef is the car rides with her friends; she says it was her source of happiness when school got difficult. When asked who made a significant impact on her life at the Reef, she responded, “Mrs. Barkow was definitely someone who had a big impact on my high school experience because she and her class helped me discover my passion for science.” Although she is not on a specific career path, she is confident that she’ll live a fulfilling life and a stable career. Isabella wishes she would’ve devoted more time to the people she loved; however, she is looking forward to meeting a new, more diverse group of people in college. She encourages those still in high school to prioritize the right things and the right people.
