Teachers - this one's for you. We want you to feel empowered to help your students embrace meaningful conversations in the classroom. We've created Mirrors materials to make it even easier. Access the Google Documents below, make a copy to your Drive, and prepare to let the learning flourish!
There are a wide variety of materials for you to choose from including webquests, workshops, and specific diversity tools. Each can be modified to your indivdiual needs. We will be updating the list of materials as each new volume launches, so check back and plan on building Mirrors into your classroom from now on!
Each of the Google Documents are set up to allow printing and distribution to in-person classes. It is recommended you provide students with time to explore the website, ask questions, and discuss with one another. For students who are learning virtually or in a blended setting, text boxes may be added to facilitate easier online access. We strive for flexibility - make Mirrors a resource that your unique student population can benefit from!
Look, we get it - it might seem like another thing to have to do in class. But we view this website as a resource of unlimited possibilities. Supplement your existing units, leave assignments when you're going to be gone. That means less planning for you and more learning for your kids! The goal is engagement and growth - something we can all get behind in education.
