Program of Study: The Applied Agricultural Engineering program of study explores the occupations and educational opportunities associated with applying knowledge of engineering technology and biological science to agricultural problems concerned with power and machinery, electrification, structures, soil and water conservation, and processing agricultural products. This program of study may also include exploration into diagnosing, repairing, or overhauling farm machinery and vehicles, such as tractors, harvesters, dairy equipment, and irrigation systems.

Quote from teacher: "Learning is a journey and the field of applied agricultural engineering is full of possibilities. It is a dynamic field that combines technology, innovation, and environmental sustainability to address challenges in agriculture and food production. Students learn how to fabricate wood and metal, electricity, plumbing and concrete."
Quote from student(s): "My favorite thing about being in these classes is being in the ag shop and working with materials and equipment to build projects. I already have one certification and will earn a second one before the end of the year."
