Your child should attend school each day he/she is well. Send your child to school ready to learn by promoting: 10 hours of sleep, time for a nutritious breakfast (home or at school), and an organized morning routine. Please notify the school office as soon as possible as to the reason for any absence and send a note with your child stating the reason for the absence upon his/her return. Every absence, even part of a school day, interferes with your child's progress at school. Each subject is taught in a sequence that builds understanding and corrects habits of study.
If your child is new to Conestoga we will need a raised seal birth certificate.
If your child is new to Conestoga, you will need to enroll your child. You will be sent a Power School portal link to officially enroll your child. This enrollment window will be open by June 1st and available on the school website.

This is provided on orientation night and Open House night as well. This is also available in the Parent Packet that you will receive in early August.
A packet of health information needed for entrance into Kindergarten will be mailed to parents. More information is available in the Conestoga Elementary Parent Student Handbook.
All new prescriptions and over the counter medication must come in the original package. Written permission from the parent/guardian must be on file before the medication is administered. Expired medication will not be given.
