Marching Festivals

All 8th-12th graders are required to travel and participate in each field competition and festival we attend. The schedule can be found under the 'calendar' tab.

All 7th-12th graders are required to travel and participate in each parade.

Concert Band Festivals

The junior high school band will attend a concert band festivals in the area during the second semester (likely month of March). These are an opportunity to perform and get feedback from professional directors.

High School band will attend a concert band festival in the area likely in April.

District Music Contest

This annual event is a judged competition that all schools in Nebraska attend. It typically occurs towards the end of April.

Honor Ensembles

By audition or nomination ONLY! Students can have the opportunity to attend different ensembles at University of Lincoln, University of Omaha, Doane University, Wayne State, Wesleyan Univeresity and other colleges or locations.

Travel Policies

All students must arrive on time to get on the bus for travel. The time will be clearly communicated beforehand with students and families.
If not traveling on the bus, families must communicate with the director about their student's arrival and departure.
All students must stay seated on the bus and follow all directions from any adult (directors, bus driver, parent volunteer).
Students are responsible for their own instrument, uniform and music .
All students are representatives of the school and are expected to behave respectfully and responsibly at all times.
Students must be academically eligible and in good standing with behavior and attendance.
Hair, jewelry, and makeup must comply with uniform guidelines provided by the director.
Any violation of these policies may result in loss of travel privileges, removal from performances, or further disciplinary action as outlined by the school district.
