Requirements: 

-Be in 9th-12th grade 

-Have participated in junior high band, or made arrangments with Ms. Harveson

-Have a personal or school owned instrument and other materials 

What We Do: 

-Perform at 3 concerts throughout the year 

-Perform at all marching competitions and festivals 

-Perform at a selection of athletic games for football, volleyball and basketball 

-Perform at a variety of concert band festivals in the second semester 

-Work hard to expand our musicianship 

-Dive into music theory, music history and creativity 

Class Syllabus / Handbook

Materials: 

Provided by the school: 

• Uniform, hat, gloves and shoes 

• Instrument (if applicable) 

• Sheet music and concert folder

• Band t shirt 

Provided by student/family: 

• Flip folder with extra sheets and proper lyre 

• Water bottle

• Pencils

• Black concert dress (slacks, blouses, polos, button shirts, dress shoes, dresses/skirts) 

• Formal concert dress (any color slacks, blouses, polos, button shirts, dress shoes, dresses/skirts)

• Long black socks
