Hello everyone! I'm so glad you're here. I graduated from Doane University in 2024. While at Doane, I was in band, choir, jazz choir, pep band and a social sorority. I absolutely loved my time at Doane and I made a home there. In the band, I played trumpet, baritone and percussion. I strive to make the Conestoga band a home, just like Doane was for me!
I grew up in Scottsbluff, Nebraska where I participated in music from an early age. My mom was a piano player, and started me in lessons when I was 7. I started playing the trumpet in 5th grade and joined choir and show choir in high school. I also danced throughout elementary and middle school, and performed in musicals at school and in my community.
I knew I wanted to be a music teacher, but I didn't know what I wanted to teach! With many opporutnites and experiences, I chose to look for a band job. That was one of my first musical experiences! Once a band kid, always a band kid!
Outside of music, I enjoy hanging out with my friends, my bearded dragon, Agnes, and my 2 kitties, Phryne and Bart. I also like to craft and bake, and traveling while I can. Many of my friends are music teachers, and we lean on each other for ideas and support!
Fun fact: I have a rubber ducky collection with about 150 ducks!
Hi everyone! I graduated from University of Nebraska at Omaha with a music performance degree. I later taught elementary music in OPS before moving to Conestoga in 2023.
At Conestoga, I teach K-4th grade music and 7th-12th grade choir. I also co-direct the elementary musical. I am looking forward to adding on the new role as assistant marching band director for this season!
