Interested in learning about the geology, history and culture of one of the most unique places on Earth? Want to hike glaciers, ice climb and ride Icelandic Horses in some of the most beautiful places in the world?

Students will travel the country by bus, experiencing many of the topics they studied while in Earth Science. We will see volcanoes and hot springs, rivers and waterfalls, columnar joints as well as many glacier features. Students will also have the opportunity to hike on a glacier where they will see just how much ice is involved and the consequence that global warming has had on these glaciers.
