Mrs. Eckles

Hello! My name is Amy Eckles, this will be my eleventh year teaching in special education. I graduated in 2010 from Western Michigan University with a bachelor degree in special education, specializing in cognitive impairments and learning disabilities. I recently received my master degree in the art of teaching, also from Western Michigan University in December 2019.

I started my career in Benton Harbor working with students in special education kindergarten through seventh grade. After that, I taught in grades kindergarten through second grade in a self-contained special education classroom for seven years in the Lakeview School District in Battle Creek. This will be my second year in Comstock Elementary and I am thrilled to get the opportunity to work with your child!
