Hi! My name is Angela Macias and I will be your student’s teacher. I am starting my 14th year of teaching. I graduated from University of Northern Colorado and taught 10 years in Colorado. I then moved to Michigan and will be starting my 4th year in Comstock.
I have 4 boys of my own; a 9th grader, 2nd grader, 1st grader and a 2 year old. Some of the family activities that we love are fishing, boating, camping and movie night. I also look forward to any alone time that I can get, especially being around 4 boys!
I look forward to the upcoming year. I know that it is going to be challenging at times but we will make it through!
Dear Students and Families of Mrs. Macias’ 5th Grade Class,
My name is Miss Mazzoni, and I will be doing my pre-internship in your classroom! I am currently a senior at Western Michigan University studying Early Childhood Education. I have had many experiences working with children in and out of the typical school setting, such as tutoring, volunteering, working as a summer camp counselor, working at a daycare, and babysitting many ages! I can’t wait to further my experience by working with you this semester!
For a little bit about me: I am from Sturgis, Michigan, a small town just about an hour South of Kalamazoo. I come from a very large family, so family is the most important thing to me. During my free time, I like to visit home and spend time with my family, go shopping, spend time on the lake (during the summer of course), and watch Netflix. I like to stay healthy by working out at the gym and try to take care of my body the best I can by eating right.
I am so grateful for this opportunity to help the students of Mrs. Macias’ classroom grow and learn, and I can’t wait to get to know each one of you!
Best,
Miss Mazzoni
