SMS Messaging

SMS messages are charged as follows:

    • Australian Customers

        • AUD$0.078 per message (capped at 160 standard characters), excluding GST

    • Irish Customers

        • EUR$0.044 per message (capped at 160 standard characters), excluding VAT

    • International Customers

        • USD$0.10 per message (capped at 160 standard characters)

Where possible, we will try to provide you with estimates of SMS costs ahead of transmission (eg Bulk Message notifications). Automatically triggered messages, however, are unable to be estimated ahead of transmission.

Our portals provide you with access to all logs of messages sent along with the time and date.

SMS Packs are typically optional modules within our portals, however, some core modules require SMS messaging for user validation and password recovery. For security and verification purposes, SMS Messages may be used to verify a user's identity, two-factor authentication and/or password recovery services. No module costs apply for these features, however, messages are billed on a usage basis.

SMS Messages sent for security or verification purposes are mandatory and cannot be disabled.

SMS Messages sent from Compass Kiosks for visitor management are enabled by default, but these can be disabled by our support team upon request by email support@compass.education.
