Applied Science

Level: Junior/Senior
Applied Science is a one semester course focusing on the practical application of engineering skills and scientific principles. This course will combine hands-on project based learning with sound scientific practice and theory. Topics for this course will include computer applications in science, structural integrity, buoyancy, force and propulsion, and friction. Students will compete in several engineering competitions where they will need to find creative solutions to problems given a set of constraints. Only basic math skills are required.
