Prerequisites: Earth Science & Algebra II (may be currently enrolled)

Level: Junior & Senior

Physics is a yearlong laboratory science course involving the study of the laws of physics. It is a general college preparatory course. Topics include: General laboratory techniques, reports utilizing the scientific method, mathematical skills including scientific notation, significant figures, arithmetic and trigonometric operations and functions, graphing techniques, solving problems using a variety of techniques including cooperative learning, laboratory testing and other critical thinking skills, engineering, and computer based data manipulation. This class requires strong algebra skills.
