All students at Columbia High School are provided with a comprehensive program that meets their academic, career, and personal/social needs. School counselors provide guidance with curriculum, individual planning, responsive services, and system support to all students.

School Counselors can be reached by phone or email. Please contact your child’s counselor in advance to schedule an appointment.

Your School Counselor can be of assistance and support for these concerns and more:

✦       Academic Concerns

✦       New school orientation

✦       Discussing special needs of their child

✦       Early discussion of potential crises

✦       Family difficulties or concerns

✦       Post-Secondary planning

Students are able to schedule a meeting at any time during the school year to discuss their academic, personal/social, or academic concerns. They can request an appointment through the Counselors Corner icon or by using the link above. 

In addition to the services provided by our school counselor's, all Columbia High School students have access to a College and Career Adviser serving in our school through the College Advising Corps in Pennsylvania. The College Advising Corps in Pennsylvania is a non-profit with the aim to increase the number of low-income, ​first-generation, and underrepresented high school students who enter and complete higher education. 


The College and Career Adviser can be of assistance with:
