Colby's International Students Program, or International@Colby, exists to support International students as they navigate attending college outside of their home country through mentorship, programming, events, and more.
At Colby, an International student is defined as a student who is not a US citizen, and therefore requires an F-1 visa to attend school in the United States. However, the International Students Program is made up of students of all different backgrounds, as being "international" can mean many different things to different people. The International community at Colby is an incredibly diverse group of students, staff, and faculty from all over the world.
Along with the International Students Program under Co-Curricular Programs, the Colby International Club has existed before the formation of the Pugh Center, and has been a large part of Pugh and campus culture for decades. The I-Club runs many campus-wide events, such as International Extravaganza and International Food Festival, as well as weekly gatherings through Coffee Hour. Learn more about the I-Club here!
