Colby requires all students to acquire proof of health insurance coverage. Colby's student health insurance plan is administered by Wellfleet Group and serviced by Cross Benefit Solutions. The Colby Student Health Insurance plan premium will be billed to students by default if the health insurance is not completed by AUGUST 1ST.
Students enrolled in the college-billed health program for the fall semester must enroll or waive the health insurance online through Wellfleet by AUGUST 1ST to receive the health insurance subsidy. If this deadline is not met, the student's account will be automatically billed the non-refundable $2,178 full-year coverage fee without receiving the health insurance subsidy.
Students enrolled in the college-billed health insurance program for the spring semester only must complete the Wellfleet health insurance enroll/waive through Wellfleet's online process by January 1st, or the non-refundable $1,268 premium fee will automatically be billed to the student's account.
Students electing to waive Colby's insurance coverage must provide proof of comparable coverage to the plan offered by Colby through Cross Benefit Solutions. Students requesting a waiver must submit their current insurance information.
