Dress Code
Overview
The Coconut VA dress code policy is designed to help us all provide a consistent professional appearance to each other and our clients. Our appearance reflects on ourselves and the company. The goal is to ensure that we maintain a positive appearance and not offend clients or colleagues.
The Coconut VA Dress Code Policy:
Everyone is expected to dress in decent attire and maintain a professional background when on video calls with colleagues or clients. Virtual or blurred backgrounds are acceptable in lieu of a professional-looking background.
Everyone must always present a well-groomed, clean, and decent appearance.
Clothing to avoid include those with offensive or inappropriate designs and those that are too revealing.
Clothing and grooming styles dictated by religion or ethnicity are exempt.
For client-facing VAs: If you are making any fashion changes in tattoos, piercings, or extreme hairstyles, please run your plans by your client to ensure it fits their guidelines.
Internal team members for Coconut VA
For external meetings with clients, VAs, prospective VAs, and prospective clients we want nothing in our appearance to distract from our mission. In general:
Keep hair well groomed and avoid extremes in color and cut.
Please conceal tattoos and piercings.
Maintain a Coconut vibe with any facial hair
No need to dress up for calls, but ensure your attire fits the vibe for a WFH professional
We are always open to making exceptions to these rules, just bring up any questions as you may have them. Our general policy to keep with US business standards, and these are always adjusting as cultures continue to morph.
