- All students who are enrolled in 10th and 11th grade at POB are automatically registered to take the PSAT; no registration or payment is necessary.
- There are no make up dates for the PSAT; please be on time to school.
- Phillip O. Berry will provide calculators for students.
- Other than the permitted calculator, no electronic devices are allowed - no cell phones, electronic translators/dictionaries, iPads, tablets, Smart watches, etc.
- Accommodations are given only to students who have already been approved through the College Board. *see Accommodations for College Board below.
- PSAT score reports are usually available in January and are given out during a homeroom.
- Students who have a College Board account can view their scores earlier online (sometime in December). If the student made the College Board account after taking the PSAT, they will need to contact College Board to have the score linked to the account.

Advanced Placement (AP) Exams are given during the first two full weeks of May (May 6-10 and 13-17, 2019).
- Location: TBA
- Times: Morning Sessions—arrive no later than 7:15 to POB for shuttle; 7:25 if driving to test site
- Afternoon Sessions—arrive no later than 10:30 am (report to 1st lunch if riding shuttle; shuttle will leave at the end of 1st lunch); 11:15 if driving to test site
***TESTING WILL NOT WAIT FOR YOU IF YOU ARE LATE***
Additional Notes:
- Students may be dismissed from testing for not following the instructions of an adult or the testing coordinator. (students are not eligible for a makeup test in this case per College Board)
- All students must register via paper and online (Spring 2019)
- Students must have a PICTURE ID (driver’s license OR school i.d.)
- Students will be charged $45 for each makeup exam (see AP testing coordinator for details)
- AP students will be marked present for all classes but are required to makeup all school work
- Students will attend regular classes while at school.
- Lunch will be offered to each student
- Students taking morning exams will eat 3rd lunch
- Students taking afternoon exams should eat 1st lunch
- Shuttle bus will be provided for students; you must complete paper and online form prior to the day of the test to ride the shuttle bus
- Parents must sign students out for students to leave campus after their tests OR the student may leave if he/she has a registered parking space at the school
- STUDENTS MAY NOT RIDE HOME WITH OTHER STUDENTS IF THEY ARE LEAVING FROM POB.
- Afternoon tests will NOT finish by 2:15. Make arrangements to have a pickup by 4:00 PM at the school.
- Waiting at school without supervision is NOT an option.
- No cell phones or smart devices can be on a student during testing
- POB students will follow school dress code AND cannot have headgear, hats, or hoods on during testing.
- AP students who take the AP exam are exempt from a teacher-made exam; however, students are required to complete a formal assessment or formal project on the regularly scheduled exam day. (This will count toward Q4 only as a formal exam.)

While SAT testing is hosted on Phillip O. Berry's campus frequently, POB faculty and staff are not affiliated with the registration or administration of any SAT or SAT subject tests.
- Students must register at https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/sat/register .
- Accommodations are given only to students who have already been approved through the College Board. *see Accommodations for College Board below.
- When pre-approved students register, they must also make College Board aware that they have an SSD number.
- Students who qualify for free/reduced lunch may qualify for a fee reduction waiver. Students should see the College Adviser on campus for details.
- To collect scores, students must login into their College Board account. POB does not provide these scores to students as we are not affiliated with SAT testing.
Accommodations for College Board Suite of Tests
Because the SAT, SAT subject tests, and all AP Exams are privately own and administered by College Board and are not state mandated, students do not automatically receive regular testing accommodations. This includes most scheduled accommodations as mandated by IEP, 504, and EL plans. However, families may apply to receive services.

To Apply for College Board Accommodations via Phillip O. Berry:*Step 1: Review the accommodations offered by SSD at bit.ly/CBaccomm*Step 2: Contact the school AP coordinator to begin the application process ASAP-must provide a signed copy of the College Board affidavit to the AP coordinator *follow link*Step 3: Make sure medical documentation with the school is up-to-date-medical documentation must be up-to-date within a year of the application submission date-all required documentation must be submitted seven weeks prior to the test in question-it is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to make sure all documentation is up-to-date and submitted to the AP coordinator prior to the due dateStep 4: the AP coordinator will submit the accommodations application once all documentation is receivedStep 5: College Board’s SSD will contact the AP coordinator with a final decision*parent/guardian responsibility
