Toy Drawings!

Gather up some of your favorite toys, paper, and some drawing tools.

Find a sunny spot and set up your toys in a way that casts a shadow on your paper. If it is a rainy day, try using a flashlight.

Draw around the outside of toy's shadow.

Ideas for completing your drawing:

• Look at your toy and draw the details that you see inside the toy shape, such as eyes, fur, scales, etc.

• Color your animal with a solid dark color like black or purple to create silhouette. Create a sunset or sunrise in the background using shading crayons (peeled crayons turned on their side) or watercolor paint.
