Hello families!
Welcome to 3rd grade! My name is Jillian Youngman and I am so excited to be your child's teacher. This year I can promise we will work hard, be challenged and have fun while trying to achieve our goals. Third grade is an important year for your child. Our learning shifts from learning how to read and moves toward reading to learn.
I'm originally from Buffalo, New York. This is my 9th year teaching at Sharon and 16th year in Education. I attended Buffalo State College where I received my Bachelors Degree in Childhood Education and my Masters Degree in Literacy Instruction from Medaille College.
In my free time I love to watch football and am a HUGE Buffalo Bills fan! I like to walk with my dog Franklyn, listen to love music and do yoga. I am a huge book worm and LOVE to read. My favorite food is italian and I enjoy traveling and visiting my family back in Buffalo.
I am looking forward to a fantastic and successful 2026-2027 school year and can't wait to get to know your child this year. I will do my best to make this a positive and easy transition to a new grade.
