Grading Policy:
The third grade team will follow the CMS Grading Policy. Please click on the attached link to familiarize yourself with the grading scale.
2022-2023 Updated Grading Policy
Students will be graded formally and informally throughout the school year.
*Formal Grades will make up 70% and Informal Grades will make up 30%*
Graded assignments can/will include:
-nightly reading homework/comprehension questions
-nightly math homework
-exit tickets (quizzes)
- post assessments (after unit tests in math and reading)
- math and reading playlist (classwork-see personalized learning tab for more information)
- other class assignments/projects
-literacy writing assignments
- participation
*Students will be allowed to retake math and literacy assessments under a 79% within 3 weeks of first test. Students will earn score of 2nd assessment*
*I will have grades uploaded to Powerschool fairly regularly throughout the school year for you to check*
