GUEST TICKETS
Due to the slightly smaller venue size, our graduates are limited to 8 guest tickets per graduate.
We will distribute these tickets to the seniors at their mandatory Graduation Rehearsal.
Many families have requested more tickets than their allotted 8. Unfortunately, MPHS does not have the capacity or ability to equitably redistribute tickets among families; therefore, we ask families to share their unneeded tickets among each other in a community effort. Thank you for your understanding as we navigate these unique challenges this year with the change in venue.
The Tickets are GENERAL ADMISSION.
Please ignore the seating assignments printed on them.
You may sit anywhere you like.
Doors open for guests at 7:30 am. The ceremony begins at 8:30 am and will last approximately 90 minutes.
HANDICAPPED GUEST SEATING
All seating is first-come, first-served.
Handicapped guests should arrive as early as possible at the Main Entrance.
Arena staff will direct you to wheelchair seating. One additional guest will be permitted to sit with the handicapped guest, but staff will try to seat the rest of your party nearby.
BAG POLICY & PROHIBITED ITEMS
All guests are subject to Bojangles' "small bag" policy.
Directly from Bojangles' Website:
"Approved Bags: Any non-clear bags that do not exceed 4.5” x 6.5” in size, which is approximately the size of a hand with or without handle/strap, such as a small clutch purse. Clear bags that do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12”. Outside food and beverages are not permitted inside the venue. Further details on the Small Bag Policy can be found here."
The following items are prohibited:
air horns, backpacks, balloons, banners, duffel bags, fanny packs,
flowers, gifts, noise makers, packages, strollers, and outside food/beverages.
This is Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department and Charlotte-Mecklenburg School policy.
Only official school personnel will be allowed on the arena floor with the graduates.
GUEST BEHAVIOR
We have been asked to stress that this is an important, serious program, not a sporting event. Appropriate audience behavior is essential to maintaining the dignity of the program. We have talked with all graduates about their behavior and the consequences of misbehavior. We ask that guests show the same respect to the graduates’ families and guests as they will show to their classmates.
