Career Cafe

Career cafe is offered to students in grades 3-5. Career cafe is a 45 minute to hour workshop offered to students to learn about careers. Students sign up for careers they are interested in and then are invited to hear a guest speaker about that career. Students are encouraged to sign up for different careers each year. Below are some pictures of a medical career cafe, lawyer career cafe and education career cafe, police and computer. Our parents are volunteers that sign up to participate in the program. During the cafe time, students learn about college requirements, interesting facts about the career, and most importantly get to participate in a hands-on activity.

Update from Covid: As soon as I get the green light from CMS to have more people in the building I will be offering cafes again. Right now these are on hold. I do have virtual career lessons on my google classroom if you are interested.
