Howlin' Huskies Women's A Cappella boldly performed with a Superior performance at the NCASA State Championships on Saturday, February 28, at Overhills High School in Spring Lake, North Carolina. The Huskies also took top honors for Best Choreography.
2018 NCASA High School Show Choir State Champions--again!
Howlin' Huskies Show Choir proudly defended their 2017 State Title with a Superior performance at the NCASA State Championships on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Hillside High School in Durham, North Carolina. The Huskies also took top honors for Best Group Vocals, Best Choreography, and sophomore Sophia Leeman won for Best Female Vocalist.
This year's show set included an a cappella feature "Try Everything" from Zootopia, and "Faith" from Sing!, "Go the Distance" from Disney's Hercules, Katy Perry's "Rise" and "This is Me" from The Greatest Showman.
The show was choreographed by Eva Joy Edwards, Hough '17 alum.

Congratulations Rachael for being awarded Finalist for the 2016 NCASA "Student of the Year". Rachael's leadership and dedication to choral music during her 4 years at Hough has had a tremendous impact on others, and the legacy we are so proud of!

who received numerous "Student of the Year" nominations for their contributions as well. So proud of all of you!
