Senior Meetings will be held during the months of September and October Your assigned school counselor (Ms. Ingram: A-Z or Mrs. Clark: K-Z) will schedule your meeting and send you a meeting invitation via email. Please accept the invitation.
Each senior is REQUIRED to meet with their assigned counselor so she knows what your post-secondary plan is and can support you, accordingly.
Step 1: Once you receive your meeting invitation, acknowledge it by accepting it.
If there is a schedule conflict at your meeting time (for example, you have a test or presentation), please email your assignment school counselor so that she can reschedule your meeting to a later date/time.
Please notify your teacher of your senior meeting. Forward the meeting confirmation to your teacher, if needed.
Step 2: Show up for your appointment on time.
You should report to your assigned school counselor’s office in the College and Career Center for your meeting.
If you forget or miss your scheduled appointment, you will have to email your school counselor to re-schedule your meeting for a later date/time.
Appointments are designed for the student and counselor with a specific agenda. Should parents like to request a separate meeting, we will schedule one once all senior meetings have been conducted.
Step 3: The following should be completed prior to meeting with your counselor:
Give consideration to your post-secondary plan: College (4-year or 2-year), Military, Work, etc.; and research the options.
Complete the Senior Meeting Questionnaire.
