Hello! I am honored to welcome you all to the 2020-2021 school year. I am thrilled to be a 5^th grade teacher at Governor's Village STEM Academy! More importantly, I am excited to be YOUR child’s Homeroom as well as their ELA and Science teacher. This year will be full of exploration that will help us master new content and activities that will create a positive classroom environment. It’s going to be a great year filled with learning.

I was born and raised in Gastonia, North Carolina. I attended Winston Salem State University, where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. I am one of four children. I have two younger brothers and a younger sister. I enjoy going on vacations, hanging out with friends, and being outdoors.
