A transcript is like a report card that covers all four years of high school. It includes all the classes you have taken and the final course grades you earned. It shows your GPA (grade point average) and total credits earned along with other information colleges and employers find helpful.
Each spring, students receive a transcript during the registration process for the upcoming school year. Garinger has also started mailing a one-page transcript (unofficial) to students along with their report cards. If you need a transcript outside of those times, please visit Student Services in the 400 Building and speak with the secretary.
Students who are moving from one school to another must complete a withdrawal form so that all of their school records can be sent to the new school. To complete the withdrawal process, contact Garinger High School's Registrar or Student Services Secretary. (click here)
The easiest and fastest way to send your transcript to a college or university in North Carolina is through CFNC (College Foundation of North Caroline).
NC College or University? Send your transcript through CFNC.
Common App School? Link your Common App to Naviance.
Outside of NC and not Common App School? Contact your School Counselor.
Students and former students who need a transcript for employment purposes may request one via the services used by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools.
➡️ Current Students - Request your transcript through the Registrar or Student Services Secretary at Garinger High School. There is no charge to current Garinger students for transcripts.
➡️ Former Students - Request your transcript through CMS Student Records. The online service asks former students to pay a small fee for their transcripts.
