Kickoff may be just around the corner BUT Chick-fil-A Community Scholars is HERE!
Through Chick-fil-A Community Scholars, Chick-fil-A, Inc. proudly sponsors at least 13 scholarships of $25,000 annually for community service-minded leaders. Beyond the financial award, winners will also participate in the Chick-fil-A Scholars Program, a valuable one-year engagement that includes dedicated mentoring and leadership development.
Recipients are selected based on their academic success, demonstrated community service, and financial need, with a core goal of recognizing remarkable individuals who embody Chick-fil-A's dedication to caring for others and enriching their communities.
Important Dates: Applications will be open from August 19th to October 28th. We highly encourage your eligible students to apply. Letters of recommendation(s) must be submitted by November 11 *please note: nothing late will be accepted*

LAWA Scholarship Application

North Carolina Community Foundation Scholarship:
Mr. Kirkman served North Carolina Career & Technical Education for over thirty years. Throughout his tenure in CTE, Mr. Kirkman served as a middle school and high school Agriculture teacher, CTE Director for Lee County Schools, CTE Regional Coordinator and Interim State CTE Director. His dedication and love for CTE led to many contributions that have positively impacted thousands of students, teachers, and administrators across the state.
Scholarship Award:
● One $1,500.00 scholarship will be awarded annually to one qualifying high school senior who is pursuing further education (certificate, diploma or degree) at an accredited college (including community college) or university.
● One $100 scholarship will be awarded annually in each of the eight CTE Educational Regions to one qualifying high school senior who is pursuing further education (certificate, diploma or degree) at an accredited college (including community college) or university.
The Queen City Alumni Chapter Scholarship - Application Cycle is not open at this time. Please check back later in the year.
The purpose of this scholarship is to support incoming freshmen attending North Carolina A&T State University from Mecklenburg, Cabarrus, Gaston, Rowan, Lincoln, Stanly, and Union counties in North Carolina, or Chester, and York Counties in South Carolina.
Scholarship Criteria
The purpose of the scholarship is to provide scholarships to students who are pursuing an undergraduate degree at North Carolina A&T State University. An eligible applicant must:
Be a graduating high school senior
Be a legal resident of Mecklenburg, Cabarrus, Gaston, Chester, Rowan, Union County, Stanly, N.C. or Chester County or York County, S.C.

The Charlotte Metro Chapter of Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS) is committed to encouraging and investing in young women who will someday become our future leaders in transportation. Each year the Charlotte Metro Chapter of WTS solicits applications for the following WTS Foundation National Scholarships.
The Charlotte Metro Chapter offers a local $2,000 scholarship, the Mary N. Clayton Honorary Scholarship, which is selected from the National Scholarship applications at the collegiate and graduate levels.
