End of Year Return and/or Renewal

Existing CMS tech will shut off mid June for the rest of summer unless the student brings it in to extend. New Hotspot issuing is paused by CMS until fall. 

Families in need of internet at home can apply for free home wifi and more from the federal government at this link. https://www.getinternet.gov/apply

1. Locate Your CMS issued Technology and Chargers

Here's what you need to return:

• If you are graduating or leaving CMS, Hotspots and Chargers, Chromebook and chargers, any old tech will all need to be returned before you leave Campus.

• If you are enrolled in summer tutoring or if you are in iMeck or going to iMeck from 8th grade, you can keep your devices

• Grades 6 and 7 8th not already mentioned above all return their chromebooks and chargers

2. Ensure Chromebook is yours. 

3. Charge Chromebook 

You must show your device working when you return it so it must turn on.

4. Report Repair Needs

Report malfuntions on the Repair form: Include anything that affects use: like malfuntioning trackpad, screen visibility, cracks that show visible wires, random shutdowns, or won't hold a charge.

 Bring it to the media center as soon as your teacher allows!

5. Pay Fees or Return Signed Wavier

Missing keys $5, cracked screen $15,  missing or destroyed device $50
