We at CMR University Mediation Cell are committed to fostering a culture of peaceful resolution and dispute management. Our Mediation Cell serves as a vibrant platform for legal professionals, students, and the broader community to come together and explore alternative dispute resolution methods, with a special focus on mediation.

The CMR University Mediation Cell aims to promote and cultivate the practice of mediation as a viable, efficient, and ethical means of resolving disputes. We seek to create an environment where individuals, legal practitioners, and communities can engage in dialogue, develop mediation skills, and contribute to building a more just and peaceful society.

•  Invite Experts from Across the Country: We actively invite distinguished advocates and mediators from all over India to the university to share their expertise and insights. Through these interactions, we aim to enrich the understanding of mediation practices and legal frameworks among students, faculty, and professionals.

• Host Mediation Events: The Mediation Cell organizes and hosts mediation-related events such as workshops, simulations, and live mediation sessions to provide hands-on experience in resolving conflicts. These events aim to promote practical skills, increase awareness, and encourage the adoption of mediation in various fields of law and society.

• Provide Legal Aid: We are committed to providing free legal assistance to individuals in need. Our Mediation Cell facilitates legal aid services, helping those facing disputes access the resources and support they require for resolution through mediation, in partnership with law experts and professionals.

• Conduct Seminars and Educational Programs: We regularly organize seminars, panel discussions, and guest lectures featuring renowned legal practitioners and experts in the field of mediation. These programs aim to educate students and the community on the importance of mediation, its legal applications, and its potential to contribute to reducing the burden on traditional judicial systems.

Our journey in Mediation Training began in the year 2022. Since its inception, the Mediation Cell has successfully conducted six specialized mediation training programs, empowering law students, legal practitioners, and ADR professionals. Each workshop has been designed to focus on different aspects of mediation, ensuring a comprehensive and handson learning experience.
