The mission of the Speech and Debate Team is to empower students to find their voice, think critically, and communicate with confidence and integrity. Through competition and collaboration, members develop skills in research, reasoning, public speaking, and respectful argumentation that prepare them for leadership in school and beyond. 

The purpose of the Speech and Debate Team is to: foster effective communication, creative expression, and critical thinking; encourage respectful dialogue and appreciation of diverse perspectives; provide students with opportunities to compete, collaborate, and grow through speech and debate events; build confidence, leadership, and advocacy skills that extend beyond the classroom; and promote academic excellence and a commitment to ethical discourse.
